Coaching at Hasek’s Heroes is a privilege. These are the standards we hold every coach to.

Preparation Come with a plan. Every practice has a purpose. Know your players. Arrive early. Be present from the moment kids walk in the door.

Communication Clear, consistent, and encouraging. Correct with respect. Challenge with belief. Never embarrass a player publicly. Never tear down — always build up. Communicate with parents & team. Update Team Reach. Address the team after games.

Development Every player gets better under your watch. Every player feels seen, pushed, and valued. You are not just developing skaters. You are developing student athletes.

Presence in the Gold Room Coach Time, Study Hours, and chalkboard sessions are part of your role. The relationships built off the ice make everything better on it. Show up for both.

Modeling You are the standard. How you handle a tough loss. How you treat officials. How you talk about school. How you carry yourself. Players absorb all of it.
