Every child moves through this path at their own pace. The goal at every level is the same: fall in love with the game, get better every day, and build the habits of a student athlete that will last a lifetime.
Every Hasek’s Heroes player follows a clear development path. Understanding it helps coaches teach and parents support at the right level.
Level 1 — Learn to Skate First time on the ice. Building confidence, balance, and a love for skating. Success looks like a child who cannot wait to come back.
Level 2 — Learn to Play Introduction to the game. Puck skills, basic positioning, and simple team concepts. Fun, participation, and foundational development.
Earn Your HEROES CAPE - When you graduate from learn to play and join our Team Play program. This marks the beginning of your Hockey Career.
Level 3 — Heroes House League Structured competition begins. Teamwork, Strength skills. Open Recreational Hockey. All youth Ages. (Same day and time) once a week schedule throughout the year.
Level 4 — Team Play (8u,10u,12u,14u) Weekly practices and league games against local competition. Full student athlete development — on the ice and in the Gold Room. High standards. High support.
Junior Coach Former players return to give back. Leadership, mentorship, and living proof that what we build here lasts.
