Learn To Skate
Are your kids ready to glide into a world of excitement, fun, and ice-filled adventures? Look no further than Hasek's Heroes Learn to Skate Program!
Designed for kids aged 5 to 14, our six-week program is the perfect opportunity for beginners to discover the joy of skating while building strong foundations for a lifetime of athletic pursuits.
Learn to Skate curriculums are designed to teach the fundamentals of skating. Skills and concepts taught include forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers and turns with agility, balance, coordination and speed as main focuses. Skaters who complete the Learn to Skate program have the opportunity to move into the age appropriate Learn to Play Program.

Week by Week Adventure
Week 1-2: Getting Comfortable on the Ice We kick off the program by introducing kids to the
ice. Our experienced coaches will guide them through the basics of balance, falling, and getting back up with a smile. As they build confidence, you'll see those first steps evolve into smoother
glides.
Week 3-4: Developing Essential Skills With a solid foundation in place, our participants will start
honing their skills. From forward and backward skating to stopping techniques, each session
brings new challenges and opportunities to improve.
Week 5-6: Gaining Confidence and Having Fun As we approach the final weeks, your young
skaters will be amazed by their progress. With newfound confidence, they'll enjoy games, mini-
challenges, and team activities on the ice, all while having a blast with their fellow heroes.
