Give 716 Day is Here — Join Hasek's Heroes in Western New York's Biggest Day of Giving
Give 716 Day is back, and Hasek's Heroes is proud to once again be part of Western New York's largest annual collaborative day of giving. Powered by the Buffalo Bills Foundation and the Buffalo Sabres Foundation, Give 716 unites fans and neighbors across the region to support hundreds of local charities and nonprofits and this year, we're asking our community to stand behind us.
What is Give 716?
Give 716 kicks off at 7:16 pm on July 15th and runs through 11:59 pm on July 16th. 716 Day, named for Buffalo's area code. Over the years, the campaign has grown into one of the region's signature events, bringing together individuals, businesses, and organizations from across Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua counties for one shared purpose: lifting up the nonprofits that serve our community every day.
Hasek's Heroes is honored to be one of the organizations included in this year's Give 716, standing alongside hundreds of other local charities all working to make Western New York a better place.
25 Years of Impact
This year's campaign means even more to us as we celebrate 25 years of service to the Buffalo community. For a quarter of a century, Hasek's Heroes has been on the ice with kids across Western New York, giving them opportunities to play, grow, and belong.
Over the years, we've had the privilege of impacting thousands of kids. Many of whom found not just a game, but a family. Several of our alumni have gone on to play college-level hockey, carrying the lessons and confidence they built with us into the next chapter of their hockey journeys. Others have come full circle, returning to Hasek's Heroes as junior coaches to give back to the same program that gave so much to them.
